Hunton Conrad and Associates - Architecture Site

Objective:

This was a website re-design. The client wanted a website that would reflect his architectural style and satisfy the needs of his sophisticated clientele.

Solution:

We started by helping the client define their mission, their targeted demographics and the needs and the benefits sought by each segment. The client had also requested preliminary key word phrase research to determine what phrases were being used to find their services in the search engines and if the extra effort to optimize their site would be warranted. We then provided a website re-design proposal. With final approval from the client we began the development process.

Results:

The resulting website reflects Hunton Conrad's architectural style through high quality photos, color, layout and copy.  Particular attention was given to reflecting the quality of "Creating Environments  as Sanctuary", Hunton's tag-line.  The site is also ranking well for specified key word phrases.   And the client is thrilled.

Created in collaboration with Gill Brook's confuci.us internet services.

Katrina Pitman - Real Estate Site

Objective:

To create a website for an established high-quality wholesale jewelry business, selling to exclusive jewelry store and galleries in over 40 states in the U.S. and around the world.

Solution:

Much of the jewelry is both dramatic and sensual. Using the client's signature logo and existing color schemes, we were able to transfer this essence to the online environment. Navigation buttons, while clean and easy to use were laid out in curves to emphasize the lines of the jewelry and the flow of the pieces as they lay against the skin.

The majority of the site is devoted to displaying the entire jewelry catalog.   Careful attention was given in the photographic work to matching gold tones from piece to piece throughout the catalog sections for continuity and quality of presentation.

Results:

Considered a revelation for the client, the website has become an important marketing tool, used at jewelry shows to help prospective clients become familiar with the line as well as helping established clients to view the latest collections.

Life Mastery Skills - Online Bookstore Site

Objective:

The client specified a website to help position her in an already active high-end resort real estate market in the Hawaiian Islands. Due to the active use of search engines by consumers seeking real estate information, the client also wished to compete in the organic search engine results.

Solution:

We started our research as always by meeting with the client to learn about their business and help them define their goals and the different user groups for their target market. We then completed a thorough key word phrases research report to determine what search terms were being used for Maui real estate and its micro markets. Based on this research and the completed strategic marketing analysis, we developed the website for optimum client fulfillment as well as search engine ranking through search engine optimizing "white hat" procedures.

Results:

The client is thrilled with their website and realtors and clients alike are awed by its beautiful reflection of the market and product, Hawaii, as well as its functionality.  (Note: As of 10/30/07 the last step of development, the client's featured listings sections, is still to be completed.)

Objective:

This project offered very interesting branding and design challenges.  The client wanted us to take an existing product, usually sold through new age type seminars, and re-position it to sell successfully to a broader market, solely through the internet and word-of-mouth channels.  An added design challenge was that the client requested that no Contact links be provided on the site.

Solution:

The first thing we did after meeting with the client to learn about her present business and her goals was to define what elements of her product would need to be modified to meet the needs of her newly delineated customer base and marketing channels.  Using both a thorough strategic plan and key word phrase research we were able redefine her product to address specific needs and provide solutions for her targeted users.   Colors, layout, copy and interactive elements were all chosen to enhance the customer experience and provide an engaging platform for optimum customer response.

Results:

The client has reported that user feedback is extremely positive.

Multiple Businesses - Introduction Site
Your Maui - Digital Podcast Site

Objective:

The client wanted a simple design that would encapsulate the main theme underlying all three of her businesses - the element of service, while also providing a strong visual representation of what makes her stand out as a person and a business owner.

Solution:

We started by meeting with the client to learn about her businesses, what unique benefits she offers her client base and to learn about her as a person.  Based on the client's feedback we were able to begin the process of design and development.

Results:

The client completely fell in love with the results, stating repeatedly that she feels it truly represents her essence, both as a business owner and personally.

Objective:

To create a Hawaii digital podcast site for the purpose of making high-definition digital short-length movies and podcasts available world-wide, both for free and for profit.  Themes include extreme sport, Hawaiian culture, nature and entertainment.

Solution:

A strategic marketing plan was completed defining the goals, targeted client groups, their needs and benefits, as well as a competitive market analysis.  Based on this report, a development plan was proposed including product definition, marketing plan, site layout and design mock-ups.   The research did reveal that while it would be possible to go to market immediately with low-definition digital, at present the demands of high-definition might make the product unavailable to large segments of targeted user base.

Results:

While the client gave a go-ahead on the design, based on the presented findings, they are completing further research on high-definition digital recording to determine the present feasibility of providing this product the the ww-market.
